The Fleece Cottage Yarns Etsy shop is now open!
At the moment there are some of the lovely hand-dyed yarns that have featured on this blog and a couple of ready-made silk knitted scarves. One of the scarves is my version of Carlina, which I am so pleased with:
It’s in a gorgeous 4ply silk from Solstice Yarns, and the drape and weight of it are fantastic. It’s making me think I should look into a 4ply silk base too… so lovely.
More yarns will be added in due course along with other goodies like pretty sets of stitch markers and more silk lace scarves (just have to get this knit-a-long polished off!).
To celebrate opening the shop, readers of this blog can get a 10% discount off anything in the Fleece Cottage Yarns shop by entering HELLOETSY1 at the checkout. There is permanent link to the Etsy shop in the sidebar or you can have a look here –
Right, I’m now off to try and finish the bind-off on a massive beast of a lace shawl before casting on Morticia tomorrow. Although, I’ve managed to frighten myself by realising that there are around 400 stitches to cast off – but then again it’s a picot bind-off, so it’s closer to 2000…eeek!
